JoAnna and I just met up last week at Calamigos Ranch to chat about all her wedding details- I can't wait for her and Jeff to tie the knot in August! Lucky for them, Sarah of Sarah K. Chen Photography will be there to photograph the day. She took the couple out for their engagement photo session awhile back; here are my favorites for your viewing pleasure:

Andrea + Erik, Our Lady Queen of Angels, Newport Beach and the UCI University Club, Irvine

It's very apparent that Andrea and Erik are so well-suited for each other- without saying a word, they seem to know what the other one is thinking. It was so sweet to watch as they interacted with each other on their wedding day in such a quiet and tender way. Love at its best! And knowing that they are in for a lifetime of this love made their Big Day all the more joyful. Yvette and Roman from Galvan Photography were so much fun to work with- check out what they captured from the day.

This moment was so priceless- as Andrea was leaving the hotel, a gust of wind came along and tried to take her veil with it. Luckily Yvette was standing nearby and snatched it right up- and managed to get some photos at the same time. Andrea's expression is completely classic!

One of the toasts to the couple included a story explaining that apple pie has played a big role in their relationship- so of course they served apple pie AND wedding cake. Guests loved it!

I love that I still get to see these two from time to time; I am lucky enough to call Rob 'Dr. Rob' as Riley's veterinarian. So you can imagine that my whole little family is very thankful that Rob and Rachael came into our lives to help plan their amazing wedding that took place one year ago today. Cheers to the two of you; wishing you a fantastic anniversary (from Riley, too!).

Kathy + Gregg, Revisited

Some more eye candy from Kathy and Gregg's charming wedding that blended both modern and rustic. Their Big Day still stands out in my mind as a highlight of the year- we had so much fun not only on the day of, but as we worked on the design as well. Thanks to Kathy for sending these my way, and the ever-fabulous (and soon to be mommy and daddy!) Gabriel and Carlie of gabriel.ryan.photographers for their artistic eye behind the camera.

Since the ceremony was to be held on the front porch of the French Estate, we wanted to incorporate the 'homey' vibe. What better way to do that than to hang a luscious wreath on the front door as the focal point? Thanks to Kristin from the Treasured Petal for her fabulous creativity on the floral design!

Kathy's bouquet was divine, lush, and delicate- all at once. The stems were wrapped in black ribbon, with an intricate lace overlay to add a vintage touch.

Kathy's face is priceless in this one!

Married!!

The table cards were hung from an old bed spring that is incorporated into the Estate's garden with growing vines. Sounds crazy- but it was the perfect touch!

Quite possibly my favorite detail from the reception was the trellace that we chose to put the cake table under. Kristin adorned it with all different sizes and shapes of glass jars, some with flowers, some with votives. It turned simply magical at night- wait until you see the picture below...

The simple, yet chic and whimsical, centerpieces consisted of varying sizes of small arrangements and different height cylinders wrapped in adorable vellum- that glowed within from candles.

See what I mean? The cake table was truly fabulous!!

Nina + Jared, Dove Canyon Country Club

For Nina and Jared, their wedding had been a long time in the making. You see, these two go WAY back- all the way back to high school where they started out as best friends. It was just a matter of time before they realized it was something more- which leads us to their incredible wedding day held at the Dove Canyon Country Club. It was a beautiful day filled with (a few) happy tears and lots of love and good wishes. Crissy of Christine Farah Photography worked her magic and photographed the day as only she could. Enjoy the pictures!

I love this picture of Nina- her happiness is just pouring out of her. So gorgeous!

Crissy definitely had her way with the yummy late afternoon light streaming into the canyon. I also love that this picture shows the fantastic detailing on the bodice of Nina's lovely Anne Barge gown.

Nina is definitely the Queen of details- I could tell she had so much fun really personalizing the day. From the 100's of votives and cylinder candle holders she customized with ribbon and vellum, to the mason jar favors (filled with homemade cookies), she really outdid herself!

Chances are, at any given point today these two are insanely happy. Why is that, you ask? Because today is the day for them- they are tying the knot over at the Resort at Pelican Hill. I couldn't be more excited to see all of our planning come together- I am lucky to have called Kevin and Jenny friends long before they became clients. So today will be an extra special day for us all; especially their guests, who have many suprises coming there way during the wedding! Fun!! In honor of their Big Day I figured it only appropriate to post some of my favorites from their engagement session with my girl Crissy at Christine Farah Photography. Check 'em out!

Christine + Richard, The Resort at Pelican Hill, Newport Coast

I was so very lucky to have worked with Christine and Richard in planning their gorgeousness of a wedding. Seriously- on the day of, I actually had to pinch myself a few times it seemed like a dream. Everything came together so perfectly- a super fun couple, amazing vendors, fabulous location (the luxurious Resort at Pelican Hill), perfect weather, and family and friends that made the day complete; what more could I ever ask for?!? Victor Sizemore of VCS Photography was such a great fit to photograph their day; hang on tight for this mega post, as he captured so many beautiful images I had to share them all!

Nisie way outdid herself with the flowers- wait until you see the reception.

Christine is a total shoe lover- I knew her choice of bridal shoes was going to be simply fabulous, and she did not disappoint with these stunning metallic Valentino heels!

Christine's Kenneth Pool dress was absolutely divine! She could not have selected a more perfect gown...

This little guy was not happy about command performance smiles during pictures. Still adorable, nonetheless!

This is definitely my favorite image from the day- truly breathtaking.

Christine and Richard love to golf- and they incorporated this love into the reception by naming all of their tables after their favorite courses. Each place card included a ball from that course, directing guests to the table they were seated at. Of course all the golf ball place cards were displayed on a bed of grass and golf tee. Love it!

I actually just had the chance to hang out with these two down at the La Costa Resort & Spa, where we had so much fun at their tasting and talking through all the details for their day. Lucky for us, their super duper rad photographer John Schnack of Schnack Studios happened to be in the 'hood scouting sites for an upcoming shoot. Min + Jason, Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church and Greystone Mansion, Beverly Hills

I knew Min and Jason's wedding was going to be out-of-this-world fun, gorgeous, and unique from the minute we met to go over all their wedding details. These two poured their hearts and souls into the planning process- and went to great lengths to create a day that was totally a reflection of them as a couple. And I would say they succeeded with flying colors! From the gorgeous veil(s!) Min wore, to the fresh-baked cookie bar stocked with all flavors of ooey-gooey goodness, there were personal touches galore. Since Min and Jason are perhaps two of the most photogenic (and nicest) people I have ever met, it was a given that the photos Crissy (of Christine Farah Photography) captured would turn out fabulous. This is going to be one doozy of a post- there were so many of my favorites I just couldn't choose!

This is one of my favorite pictures from the day- so timeless and romantic!

Min and Jason had about 500 guests at the ceremony- gives you an idea of how grand the church is.

Married!!

Their color palette was so soft and romantic; the corals and peaches in the flowers was simply divine.

See? Divine!

Every woman should get to wear a birdcage veil at least once in her life. At least I think so.

Min was a true natural when it came to working the ribbon wand. She was having a blast!

Crissy is a genius- she brought along these fantastical masks for Min and Jason to pose with. They really echoed the magical feeling of the Mansion- it was as if the two of them were on their way to a masquerade ball during the 16th century Rennaissance in Europe. Stunning!

Work it, Min! WORK it!

Their first dance was a high energy and such a treat for all their guests.

Towards the end of the reception, we incorporated a traditional Paebaek ceremony into the evening. This was my first encounter with one, and it was so much fun to experience and learn about the traditions.

Maria and Anton had a truly international affair for their gorgeous April wedding at the Resort at Pelican Hill. Guests from pretty much every continent flew in just for the occasion! In chatting with them I encountered visitors from Canada, the UK, Slovakia and even Dubai in attendance. That speaks so greatly to the character of these two, and shows just how captivating of individuals they are since all their loved ones would cross oceans to be there in support of their journey together. And talk about a real treat for all the guests- I cannot say enough good things about Pelican Hill. It is a venue truly in a league of its own...

Thanks to Maria and Anton's good friend and photographer Joshua Komanapalli for being on hand to capture the day on film. Here are some of the images from the day for you to enjoy:

Married!

The two shared a waltz to the tune of a traditional Slovakian wedding song for their first dance. Such a timeless and enchanting moment- it seemed as though time stood still for a moment as they glided across the dance floor.

Many laughs were shared as family and friends toasted the couple and enjoyed the decadent four course meal.

They were a dancing group- big time! I don't think I saw the floor empty for a single song...

The night was complete when Maria changed into a gorgeous, elaborate sari towards the end of the evening- she was absolutely breathtaking!

I'm in the Big Apple right now soaking in all that the amazing city of New York has to offer, but of course I couldn't leave my lovely blog readers without some goood ole' eye candy to enjoy. Thanks to Amy Squires of Amy Squires & Co. for sending over a disc with all the images from Jen and Marc's Big Day! There was so much more photo-goodness to be shared; she definitely did not disappoint. Now, onto the goods...

I love this backdrop Amy and Lane spotted on the patio of Jen's villa at the Resort at Pelican Hill, where all the girls got ready. So soft and feminine- and it suited Jen perfectly!

Seriously- how cute is this little guy??

I love this moment captured between the two of them- you can almost feel the emotions leaping out of the picture.

Married!!!! So happy.

These delicate crystal candle holders lead the guests way on the path to the cocktail area. Such an elegant touch!

As the sun began to set, the ambiance of all the candles in the room really took effect.

And of course, Marc and his good friend insisted upon keeping with tradition, and serenaded Jen at the end of the evening with their Fraternity Sweetheart Song. All the guests loved this fun little surprise- and I know she did too!

Jen and Marc had a picture perfect wedding only fitting for their picture perfect love. Not only are they an adorable couple who are completely, totally, undeniably head-over-heels for one another; but they both offer amazing, genuine, caring personalities to boot. They are the kind of couple that I feel truly blessed and honored to have as clients, and more than that, friends. Being a part of their day filled me with joy, and I drove home late that night after all the festivities were over feeling as if I was a better person for knowing not just the two of them, but their incredible family and friends as well.

I am sure Amy Squires and Lane Dittoe (of Amy Squires & Co.) would agree that the day was one that we won't soon forget. Especially with the help of these fabulous images they captured to spark all the wonderful memories!

Inspiration in abundance at 'A Soolip Wedding'

I was so excited to finally make it to this year's 'A Soolip Wedding', the creme de la creme of bridal and wedding focused events. The event's website describes it as "a modern bridal event presenting a well-edited collection of L.A.'s unique and most distinctive bridal resources, A Soolip Wedding features designers and companies that are highly recognizable to secret gems, all from which to create the most stylish yet personal wedding". This year was ultra special because it was the 10th Anniversary. And of course it was held again at the oh-so-divine Vibiana. Couldn't make it out there yourself? Well definitely try to next year- but for now, check out some of the photos I snapped of all the inspiration to be had:

This was hands down one of my favorite table designs, brought to us by the lovely team at Shutters on the Beach.

I love that Flite Design provides these delicate and luxurious silk lanterns as rentals for weddings. Definitely have a wedding coming up that these would be so perfect for! You'll see them in their full glory again in a later picture...

Flite Design also does one-of-a-kind custom invitations. So fantastically decadent!

Peony & Plum has such a fresh eye for floral design! And I love the quote that they use to represent their company; "Happiness held is the seed; happiness shared is the flower".

I had to get a close up of the fun and funky vase they chose for the display- I loved that it had little air bubbles in the glass which added the neatest texture to the already gorgeous submerged florals.

This bouquet by Floracopia makes my heart melt...the delicate succulents mixed in with the pristine ivory roses- so lush, but in an elegant and understated way.

The infamous Vanilla Bake Shop custom cupcake tower- love love LOVE. Can you tell there was lots of love in the air that day? And not to be forgotten, the fabulous cake with the feminine yet modern floral motif winding up the side. More love!

Another cake by Vanilla Bake Shop. The navy blue and light pink palette is a long-time favorite; a nod to the nautical in a fresh way.

I had to sneak a food picture in, of course! Patina is constantly raising the bar on their catering offerings. This sumptuous grouping of four small bites is what they call 'the four seasons'. Each little quadrant has a taste of food that brings to mind either winter, spring, summer or fall. Genius, right? They were almost too pretty to eat.

Nichole + Mike, Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa

Nichole's mom Brenda actually summed it up best in her impossibly sweet (and incredibly flattering!) thank you note she sent me- "you're like family", she wrote, " we will miss you!". Over the course of nine months- I worked closely with Nichole (and sometimes Brenda:) ) to help bring all of her and Mike's dreams and ideas to reality. So closely that yes, I would agree; they felt like family.

The initial vision we set out with was pretty much no holds barred. They wanted bling and dramatic colors. They wanted a fun party for all. They wanted over the top gorgeousness. And they wanted it all to be unique and in a fantastic beach setting. And I am sure you would agree- from the looks of the images captured by the fabulous Amy Squires of Amy Squires Photography, Nichole and Mike got everything they could have hoped for, and then some. Mike even got his only specific request honored- a Patron shot for all, in lieu of the traditional champagne toast. Patron? Yes, Patron. Needless to say, it was indeed a fun party for all.

Gor-geous-ness! Times ten!

Just as the sun dipped behind the coastline, they newlyweds snuck away for some portraits alone. Sigh...

Details? I love me some good details; especially when Jocey is involved on the paper design. Nichole came up with a fun twist on place cards; she incorporated a nod to her cultural heritage with bright red Chopsticks to which the guest's place card was attached. We then stuck the chopsticks into take-out boxes filled to the brim with aqua colored candies and...voila! Place cards and favors all in one.

The whole 'no holds barred' thing definitely applied to the lighting. Atmosphere pulled out all the stops with LED uplighting (which we changed from aqua to deep red once dinner was finished), pin-spotting, and intelligent lighting including a custom gobo and texture gobos on the dance floor. When Casey and Kyle met with me for our initial consultation back in July, we literally talked for hours. It was like seeing old friends that I hadn't talked to in awhile- there was just so much to catch up on, and so much to say! And besides the easy connection we all shared from the get-go, there were some pretty crazy coincidences; the strangest of which is that Casey's birthday is just a few days after mine, and Kyle's is a few days away from Greg's. Talking with them, it became very apparent that their relationship mirrored my own marriage on some many levels.

Needless to say- it was an easy fit bringing me on as their wedding coordinator. And personally, I couldn't have been more thrilled since they had an overwhelming abundance of creative ideas for their Big Day and an enthusiasm for the whole planning experience to match. So when Valentine's Day rolled around, I couldn't believe that all their planning and hard work was coming to fruition- their day had arrived!

Lucky for all of us, Tony Florez of Tony Florez Photography was there to document the day. Here are my favorites from the disc of images he was kind enough to pass along to me (thanks again, Tony!).

These two were so overjoyed to finally be married- they literally boogied back down the aisle to the music

Thus was such a neat idea- Casey and Kyle provided paints and a blank canvas for their guest to decorate during the cocktail hour. They planned to hang the finished product in their home as their first piece of art.

The cocktail hour was held in the super intimate barrel room. I adore this space!

Before we opened up the doors to the ballroom, Casey and Kyle snuck in and got to take it all in. They also took a moment to exchange personal vows with one another at this time; it was a nice break from the action and very meaningful to the both of them.

Their cake was spectacular!! Sweet Gems did such a great job!

They worked with a choreographer to put together a high energy, ridiculously fun grand entrance dance. They literally krumped a one point- so classic seeing Casey in her elegant wedding gown, throwin' it down!

From the minute I first met Kathy and Gregg, I knew their wedding was going to be such a charming, personal affair filled with fun, family and friends, and good BBQ. Yes, I said BBQ- one of the coolest elements of their day was the on-site BBQ provided by Jay's Catering. So perfect for the BBQ-loving couple. It was a huge hit, not to mention hugely delicious!

Leading up to the wedding we had a blast planning out the look of the day. With the vintage setting of The French Estate as the backdrop, it only made sense to bring in whimsical and rustic touches in the flowers and decor. Kristin from The Treasured Petal did an amazing job of working with us to bring the vision to life, including Kathy's luscious bouquet wrapped in antique-looking lace, a huge floral wreath that hung from the front doors on the porch of the house (where the ceremony was held), and an assortment of hanging glass containers that were hung over the cake (no pictures of the wreath or cake table yet- but trust me, TOTALLY charming).

To top everything off, we had Gabriel and Carlie from gabriel.ryan.photographer there to photograph the day. Not only did they photograph the heck out of it, they added to the awesome vibe with their fun-loving and warm personalities. Check out a preview of the day- more to come!

Love love LOVED their first look. It was like no one else was around them- they were so at ease, and literally seemed like they could have just stayed there, talking and enjoying the moment, forever!

Ritz-Carlton makes a 'Vow to Help Others'

It seems like there is nothing but bad news floating around out there lately, what with the economy in turmoil and all; so when I received information on a new program launched this past Valentine's day by the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company it made me smile. You see the program is making it possible for couples getting married at a Ritz-Carlton Hotel or Resort, to make their special day not only amazing, but personally enriching and beneficial to others in need.

Specifically, the program "gives wedding couples the opportunity to donate five percent of the total food revenue from their event equally between a charity of their choice and to the Community Footprints Fund, sponsored by The Ritz-Carlton, which benefits hunger and poverty relief, well-being of disadvantaged children, and environmental conservation." To me, this is a HUGE step in the right direction. With the cost of weddings these days, sometimes it is hard to swallow spending so much money on one day- this may not make it easier, but it will add the knowledge that your Big Day could be making others' days just a little brighter!

Caroline + Giulio, to-be-wed

Caroline and Giulio have such a wonderfully unique style as a couple, and we have been busy planning their September wedding (to take place at the ultra modern and equally unique [Seven-Degrees]) for awhile now. Funny thing is- I didn't actually meet Giulio until a few weeks ago, when he made a trip out here from his home in Australia to spend some time with Caroline and get in some wedding planning. You see, these two are living the true definition of long-distance love. With Caroline on this side of the Pacific until after the wedding, they definitely make the most of each moment they are able to spend together when they have a chance. Sarah of Sarah K. Chen Photography perfectly captured their love on film when she headed out with the duo for their engagement session, as you can see from the images below:

Hsin-Hui + Ping, Cuvier Park ('The Wedding Bowl') and George's at the Cove, La Jolla

Hsin-Hui and Ping were married this past December on a blustery winter day that was forecasted to include showers. Lucky for us, it didn't; their outdoor ceremony at the breathtaking Cuvier Park (better known as the 'Wedding Bowl') went off without a hitch or a single drop of rain. Guests were able to take in the dramatic views of the Pacific off the bluff and thoroughly enjoy as these two became one. Afterwards, the ocean yet again served as the backdrop for a fun-filled luncheon reception at George's at the Cove.

Thanks to Michael of Michael Norwood Photography, we have all the wonderful moments from the day captured, with my favorites to follow. Enjoy:)

To say that Jenni and Tyson had a fun wedding would definitely be putting it lightly. I may be a little biased seeing as Jenni is a college friend and sorority sister, but I think even an outsider would agree that it was a fabulous night that was so appropriate and fitting in every way for the two lovebirds.

I have to start off by saying that I had the 'night off' this time around- and the lovely Andrea from CZ Events did a fantastic job coordinating the day from start to finish. I could see how relaxed and in the moment Jenni was- and I am sure that had much to do with Andrea. And we all have John Schnack of Schnack Studios to thank for the amazing pictures below- I was lucky enough to get to chat with him for a bit after the wedding, and he is beyond a cool guy. I am definitely looking forward to our wedding together in August!

This is a very special post because I am so so SO excited for Jenni and Tyson's wedding on Saturday down in San Diego for the following three reasons (among many more, of course- but I'll spare you the entire list):

Jenni is a good friend from college, and we shared some of the best times together having a blast in our sorority at UCSB
Greg and I get to be GUESTS at the wedding!! Hooray! No working for me- just boogeying on the dance floor and catching up with all my friends sure to be in attendance

ABC-OC Meeting Round-Up: Pelican Hill and BTB Event Productions

The ABC-OC started off the year with a bang having already hosted two fabulous member meetings. Yesterday I found myself back at the Resort at Pelican Hill again for a Coordinator's Only Meeting. I've been out there twice in the last few weeks for client tastings (And trust me I am NOT complaining; their food, service, and location are all to.die.for amazing!) We were all treated to fun and fresh decor, delicious food, and the most perfect weather ever for being out on the coast. Here are some of the pictures I took of the vibrant set-up:

Fusion Linens showcased some of their new offerings- this particular linen was my personal favorite. Love the detail!

Nisie's Enchanted Florist never fails to impress me with her lush and unique floral design.

Seating was provided by Chameleon Chair Collection. Their chairs and chair decor are seriously works of art. Rhonda was there to show off some of their new designs (I didn't get any pictures though), and WOW is all I can say.

Dessert was definitely a highlight- I almost felt bad eating the artfully plated and oh so delicate macaroons with raspberry sorbet. Yumm-o!

If you haven't seen the view from the event lawn (where outdoor ceremonies are held) you are missing out.

And back at the beginning of January, I attended an all-member meeting hosted by Best of the Best Event Productions. It was mind-blowing to tour their GINORMOUS (and I do mean, ginormous) warehouse of all-things event-related. They have just about anything you could dream up as far as event decor and design goes- and if they don't have it, they have a workshop where they can make it in a jiffy. I could not have imagined a more spectacular way to kick-off 2009. These two instantly felt like old friends to me- and being surrounded by their deep and soulful love on their wedding day was an absolute blessing. Beyond that, they have a whole team of amazing family and friends that care beyond words can express, which was touching and inspiring all at once. To top these things off (as if that were even possible?!?) their stylish and unique aesthetic made for a one-of-a-kind day with their names written all over it. Crissy of Christine Farah Photography was the perfect choice to document the day, and here is how she saw it through her lense:

As Seen In...Ceremony Magazine- Orange County

I have quite a few pictures from last year that go down in my book as all time favorites. Pictures that no matter how much time passes, or however many weddings I am blessed to be a part of, will still go down in my book as classic. You can imagine how pleased I was to see one of these show up in the latest edition of Ceremony Magazine- Orange County. I was just absentmindedly flipping through the pages when out it popped! I'm sure you'll remember this adorable shot Jim Kennedy captured from Sara and Shane's wedding at Rancho Las Lomas...

Yes, she is taking a moment to dig for gold as she makes her way down the aisle. Precious!

Bluefly.com has some fun new goodies on their website in conjunction with the movie hitting theaters 1/9, including a contest to win a $1,000 shopping spree; all you have to do is submit your own 'wedding war story' (think along the lines of crazy mother-in-laws and bad taffeta). There's also a super-fun little game where you can upload your face to the body of either Liv (Kate Hudson) or Emma (Anne Hathaway) and duke it out against the other bridezilla. The threat of rain did absolutely nothing to kill the mood on this joyous day. When I asked Jenner after discussing the weather forecast for the day, 'So, what do you think? Should we stay outside or move inside for the ceremony'? She looked at me and non-chalantly answered 'Outside. I'm sure everything will be fine'; and it was. More than just fine! It was a gorgeous fall day filled with the love of two people so excited to be starting their newest adventure together. I adore both Jenner and Kyle for their calm and relaxed attitudes and their quick wit- it was very apparent that they enjoyed the day with their many friends and family to the fullest. A big thank you goes to Crissy of Christine Farah Photography for stepping in to shoot the wedding for Sarah K. Chen (Sarah was VERY pregnant with the adorable Ellie, at the time).

We started the day in a fabulously appointed suite at tthe Hilton Waterfront- I loved all the blues in the decor!

Stepping outside of the box, I loved that Jenner had bridesMEN in her entourage. No rules these days when it comes to choosing those important people you wish to honor on your wedding day.

Not only are Christine and Richard getting married this May at the to-die-for Resort at Pelican Hill, but they have a top-notch team of vendors lined up to make their day everything they can dream of and then some. Included on that team is the supremely talented (and overall cool guy) Victor Sizemore of VCS Photography. Thanks to Victor for sending over some of the images from the lovely couple's engagement session- below are my favorites.

Christine and Richard enjoy golfing together- not necessarily just the putt-putt variety, but the real deal. I loved their idea to incorporate the sport into their Big Day- starting with their Save the Date (above), designed by Victor. I haven't seen the final product, but last I heard the back was going to be laid out like a golf score card, with pictures of them golfing on the front. So cute!

Fun news for the weekend

Exciting news to share! Earlier in the week I received a packet in the mail from the team over at Project Wedding. In it was a letter explaining that Platinum Weddings by Kerrie had been chosen to receive a 'Best of Project Wedding 2008' award. This new honor serves to distinguish the 'top 5% of wedding professionals' in the area, us being among them. How cool is that?

And as if that wasn't enough good news for the week, the lovely Sandy over at the Surf and Sand Resort e-mailed me a few days ago to pass along the word that they have selected us to include on their exclusive, invite-only list of Preferred Vendors for 2009. I have always loved the Surf and Sand- so this thrills me to no end. No better way to head into the weekend than with all this great news:)

Hsin-Hui + Ping, The Movie

Studio West Video does it again! Another sneak peek at the lovely day Hsin-Hui and Ping had last weekend down in San Diego. We started out at the Hotel Parisi, then headed over to the Wedding Bowl for the ceremony, and finally George's at the Cove for a rockin' reception. Thanks to Dirk for sending this my way. Onto the good stuff...

I can't believe time is ticking down on 2008 and that 2009 is just around the corner! This year has been amazing- so many great memories, and my clients have been a big part of many of them. I wanted to give one last shout out to all of our newlyweds this year- here's wishing you all a fabulous 'first married holiday season'.

I just had to post these, as these two lovebirds are tying the knot this Sunday down in La Jolla. As always, Michael Norwood knocked it outta the park! I can't wait to see what he captures at their wedding- which is set to be a fun and stylish affair.

Hola from Barcelona!

We have had the most incredible time these past two weeks- and Barcelona was certainly an amazing way to end our journey. Some of the highlights since my last post...

Wandering the grounds at Versailles

Looking out onto Paris from the top of Notre Dame

Visiting Saint-Chapelle- my favorite religious landmark of them all. The top floor has the most intricate and colorful stained glass I have ever seen- so breathtaking!

Our first day in Barcelona- we made our way down La Rambla right outside our hotel

The fish were all over the place down at the Port Vell

Tapas- the smartest meal idea ever. If you want to have cheese, fish, ham, and chicken all in one sitting- no problem! You order several small plates to share, and there you have it. All the best tastes in one. Love it!

We went back several times- here is Greg making our first visit to one of the nuts and chocolate stands. Needless to say- we were regulars by the end of our trip!
