Venue spotlight: Franciscan Gardens, San Juan Capistrano

I love visiting downtown SJC, not just due to the fact that it is the home of the historic Mission SJC, but because it is filled with an old-world charm that seems to be rapidly disappearing in California. The businesses in the area have worked hard to preserve much of the area's history; and it shows! Franciscan Gardens fits right in with the unique appeal of the area. The venue's website describes: "Dancing under the stars in our beautiful rose garden is our speciality! Let the old world charm of downtown San Juan Capistrano enhance the magic and splendor of your wedding or special event!"

The venue boasts not only a gorgeous bridal suite and private dressing area, but lounges for the bridesmaids and groom and his groomsmen as well. The groom's lounge even has a full on pool table! And even better, abundant photo opportunites exist with the train station and Mission SJC within walking distance.
