Min + Jason, to-be-wed

I am loving all my fabulously stylish clients and all their fabulously stylish engagement shoots of late. Crissy of Christine Farah Photography recently captured the lovely Min and Jason on film and the results (I'm sure you'll agree) are truly fantastic. Below is just the tip of the iceberg- head over to Crissy's blog for even more amazingness. Can't wait for their wedding coming up in April at Greystone Mansion!

Jenni + Tyson, to-be-wed

This is a very special post because I am so so SO excited for Jenni and Tyson's wedding on Saturday down in San Diego for the following three reasons (among many more, of course- but I'll spare you the entire list):
  1. Jenni is a good friend from college, and we shared some of the best times together having a blast in our sorority at UCSB
  2. Greg and I get to be GUESTS at the wedding!! Hooray! No working for me- just boogeying on the dance floor and catching up with all my friends sure to be in attendance
  3. I get to see John Schnack of Schnack Studios in action- since I'll be working with him on a fabulous wedding I just booked for this August at the La Costa Resort & Spa, it will be nice to meet him beforehand

In honor of their wedding this weekend, I wanted to give some love to the soon-to-be newlyweds- here's a sampling of their awesome engagement pictures (courtesy of Schnack Studios):

Happy Anniversary, Jean + Chris

One year ago today Jean and Chris were busy celebrating their new marriage at the lovely Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. Cheers to their first year of marriage- time sure does fly by!

Maria + Anton, to-be-wed

I figured it only appropriate to post these today seeing as we are headed to The Resort at Pelican Hill later this afternoon for their final tasting, and then over Square Root to wrap up all the fun decor details. Joshua Komanapalli of Joshua Komanapalli Photography had a warm up photo session at the resort for their engagement pictures- I am looking forward to seeing them work the camera again for the Big Day in April!

Casey + Kyle, The Movie

These two had nothing but sunny skies and lots of love (it was Valentine's Day, after all) on their Big Day this past Saturday. Although the air had a true chill to it out at Wilson Creek Winery, the day could not have been more fabulous. Dirk with Studio West Video sent over this sneak preview video for you to enjoy:) P.S. The song Dirk used for the ceremony portion of the video was written by Casey's dad, who had it recorded by some 'big name' Nashville artists as a gift to Casey (the names remain a big secret!). (Please allow about a minute for the video to load once you click 'play').

Nichole + Mike, to-be-wed

I've been having a blast assisting these two in planning their March wedding since June, and I can't believe that it is now just right around the corner. I think I might be just as excited as they are- their Big Day is going to be at a fabulous venue (the Hyatt, Huntington Beach), they have put a ton of thought into all the details, and they have an absolutely smashing line-up of vendors. Included in that list is none other than Amy Squires- love her! Here is a taste of their recent engagement shoot they had with the lovely Amy:

Becky + Isaac, to-be-wed

These two stylish love birds are getting married in June, and I am so looking forward to their Big Day at the Hyatt, Huntington Beach. They recently met up with Crissy of Christine Farah Photography for an out-of-this-world fabulous engagement shoot. Check out some of my favorites from the session:

ABC-OC Meeting Round-Up: Pelican Hill and BTB Event Productions

The ABC-OC started off the year with a bang having already hosted two fabulous member meetings. Yesterday I found myself back at the Resort at Pelican Hill again for a Coordinator's Only Meeting. I've been out there twice in the last few weeks for client tastings (And trust me I am NOT complaining; their food, service, and location are all to.die.for amazing!) We were all treated to fun and fresh decor, delicious food, and the most perfect weather ever for being out on the coast. Here are some of the pictures I took of the vibrant set-up:

Fusion Linens showcased some of their new offerings- this particular linen was my personal favorite. Love the detail!

Nisie's Enchanted Florist never fails to impress me with her lush and unique floral design.

Seating was provided by Chameleon Chair Collection. Their chairs and chair decor are seriously works of art. Rhonda was there to show off some of their new designs (I didn't get any pictures though), and WOW is all I can say.

Dessert was definitely a highlight- I almost felt bad eating the artfully plated and oh so delicate macaroons with raspberry sorbet. Yumm-o!

If you haven't seen the view from the event lawn (where outdoor ceremonies are held) you are missing out.

And back at the beginning of January, I attended an all-member meeting hosted by Best of the Best Event Productions. It was mind-blowing to tour their GINORMOUS (and I do mean, ginormous) warehouse of all-things event-related. They have just about anything you could dream up as far as event decor and design goes- and if they don't have it, they have a workshop where they can make it in a jiffy. Some fun pictures I took of the party decor:
