M + A, St. John's Cathedral, Los Angeles and Marvimon

I could not have imagined a more spectacular way to kick-off 2009. These two instantly felt like old friends to me- and being surrounded by their deep and soulful love on their wedding day was an absolute blessing. Beyond that, they have a whole team of amazing family and friends that care beyond words can express, which was touching and inspiring all at once. To top these things off (as if that were even possible?!?) their stylish and unique aesthetic made for a one-of-a-kind day with their names written all over it. Crissy of Christine Farah Photography was the perfect choice to document the day, and here is how she saw it through her lense:

Holly Flora seriously blew my mind with the gorgeousness that is her floral design artistry. Love. Her.

No, you're not seeing double- A has a twin. I loved seeing the two of them interact. They play off each other so well- I was cracking up most of the day. So funny!

Wow. Just wow!

I heart Marvimon to bits and pieces. And Holly. Did I say that already?

A special thanks to the following fabulous team:

Jeff and Loop with TACT (they manage Marvimon, and do an absolutely splendid job of it I might add!)

As Seen In...Ceremony Magazine- Orange County

I have quite a few pictures from last year that go down in my book as all time favorites. Pictures that no matter how much time passes, or however many weddings I am blessed to be a part of, will still go down in my book as classic. You can imagine how pleased I was to see one of these show up in the latest edition of Ceremony Magazine- Orange County. I was just absentmindedly flipping through the pages when out it popped! I'm sure you'll remember this adorable shot Jim Kennedy captured from Sara and Shane's wedding at Rancho Las Lomas...

Yes, she is taking a moment to dig for gold as she makes her way down the aisle. Precious!

Be sure and check out Ceremony Magazine for lots of inspiration- the Los Angeles and San Diego editions are fabulous as well!

In other news, I am headed down to San Diego tomorrow (Monday) to take part in 'The Special Event 2009'!!! So excited to experience everything it has to offer and come back later in the week with all sorts of ideas, inspiration, and knowledge. And rumor has it I get to meet up with some of my very favorite colleagues for a 'Planner's Night Out'- woohoo! Can't wait:)

Christy + Ted, Revisited

MoLAA is a venue with so much personality- I am already looking forward to returning to it for a wedding we have coming up in the fall. Looking back over Christy and Ted's pictures from their Big Day last August I found some more fun pictures to share with you all. Thanks as always to Sarah of Sarah K. Chen Photography for keeping me well supplied with pictures of our weddings together.

M + A, to-be-wed

I am looking forward to kicking off the New Year with our first wedding of 2009 this weekend- not only are M and A adorable (see: proof below), but they are going to celebrate at one of my very favorite venues, Marvimon (remember when Regina and Richard were married there last year?)! Crissy of Christine Farah Photography will be there doing her fabulous photographer thing. Check out some of the impromptu engagement pictures she snapped of the couple when they met up recently.
