Nina + Jared, to-be-wed part deux

Oh, how I love Crissy Farah for these pictures of the amazingly chic and oh so hot Nina and Jared. Can't wait to see these two tie the knot next year!

Hola from Barcelona!

We have had the most incredible time these past two weeks- and Barcelona was certainly an amazing way to end our journey. Some of the highlights since my last post...

Wandering the grounds at Versailles

Crepes...yummy!

Looking out onto Paris from the top of Notre Dame

Visiting Saint-Chapelle- my favorite religious landmark of them all. The top floor has the most intricate and colorful stained glass I have ever seen- so breathtaking!

Sunset over Paris from the top of the Arc de Triomphe

Walking through the many parks in Paris- this one happened to be Parc Monceau, near our hotel

Finally getting near the Eiffel Tower

Our first day in Barcelona- we made our way down La Rambla right outside our hotel

The fish were all over the place down at the Port Vell

Tapas- the smartest meal idea ever. If you want to have cheese, fish, ham, and chicken all in one sitting- no problem! You order several small plates to share, and there you have it. All the best tastes in one. Love it!

Making our way through La Boqueria, one of the more popular public markets off La Rambla

We went back several times- here is Greg making our first visit to one of the nuts and chocolate stands. Needless to say- we were regulars by the end of our trip!

Taking a cable car up to Montjuic...

...the views on the way up were spectacular...

...and even better from the castle at the top!

Conquering my fear of huge flocks of birds at the Plaça Catalunya

La Sagrada Familia, a work by Gaudi that is still very much in progress

The sunsetting over the streets of Barcelona- the colors are so vivid it is truly unreal

And finally, piecing together one of our last meals in Barcelona from the selection at La Boqueria. So fun!

Bonjour from Paris!

Checking in with a 'halfway point' photo update of what we have been up to. London and Paris have been such incredible experiences- both so different, but so fantastic in their own ways. Here are a few of my favorite memories thus far:

After a 10 hour flight, getting out to beat the jet lag with a warm glass of mulled cider in a pub. Every trip should start off this way...

Heading out to walk down the Thames as the sun rose behind Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. Wow- that's all I can say! And yes, we were even lucky enough to have a gorgeous, sunny (albeit cold) day during our stay in London.

Dinner at the quaint and oh so personal Library Restaurant at the Rubens Hotel (next door to our most fabulous hotel, the Hotel 41. If you are headed to London, I cannot recommend this hotel enough!!)

Stumbling across the only Bridal shop in the old town of Salisbury, where we happened to be stopping for lunch at a pub after visiting the Cathedral

Wandering around Stonehenge. Such an eerie feeling being somewhere so ancient, shrouded in so much mystery

Seeing the Queen make her way out of Buckingham Palace while waiting around for the Changing of the Guard. It happened in the flash of an eye, and we were so excited when we just happened to be paying attention in the right direction!

REAL fish and chips at Seashell's

The Arc de Triomphe all lit up our first night out and about near our hotel in Paris

The Eiffel Tower at night, after a walk down the bustling Champs-Elysees

Catching choir practice at Saint-Germain-des-Pres. I swear there were angels hovering above us as they sang....

And of course, Notre Dame- all lit up just for us!

Thank You's make the world a better place

These make me smile:)

Thank you so much for everything you did for our wedding!! We can't even begin to put together words to explain our gratitude for all the guidance, encouragement, and kindness you have shown us over the last year. We can honestly say that planning our wedding was a completely fun and exciting experience, and that is all due to you! The day of the wedding was even better than we could have hoped. You and your team made everything run so smoothly, it was perfect:) Please do keep in touch, we feel like you are such a part of our lives!

From Brittany and Brian:

Thank you so much for all of your help this past year. My special day wouldn't have been what it was without all of your great ideas and support. You are an amazingly talented woman! Thanks again for everything.

From Lily and Sam:

Sam & I just wanted to say THANK YOU for the wonderful job you did for our wedding. You made everything come together so smoothly and the day went along effortlessly. People kept telling me how relaxed I looked and I must say I owe much of that to you!

From Sara and Shane:

I am still in a cloud but wanted to send you a quick email to say THANK YOU for everything. I don't know what I would have done without you. You were such a great help and support to my mom and I! You were always there making sure I had everything and was aware of everything that was going on! We had the time of our life and again... thank you thank you thank you!

From Jenner and Kyle (stay tuned for their pictures from Crissy Farah in the next few weeks):
Thank you so much for all of your help. We were so happy with the way the whole day turned out, and we know that it would not have been possible without all of your hard work. Thank you for taking all of the stresses off of us. It was a great day.

Off to Europe!!

I can't believe it's finally here- our big trip to Europe begins tomorrow. I am everything you could expect from an infrequent international traveler; excited, anxious, nervous, all at once. I'll be lucky to stop my mind from racing long enough to get a good nights sleep! I have some posts lined up while I'm away, and I'll try to post from our journey; but if not, I'll surely get back to my regularly scheduled posting once we are un-jet lagged. And if you try to get in touch with me, the plan is to check e-mail every day or so, but please don't worry if it's been a day or two and for some reason I have yet to follow up.

Watch out, 'cause here we come:

Jamie + Jason, Revisited

I couldn't help but posting a few more images from Jamie and Jason's fabulous day after seeing the disc of all their wedding images that the wonderful Louis Palos sent my way.

Jamie gifted each of her bridesmaids with a jeweled charm of their first initial hanging from their bouquet- and her Jr. Bridesmaid, not to be forgotten, received this adorable crown brooch.
