Wandering the grounds at Versailles
Looking out onto Paris from the top of Notre Dame
Visiting Saint-Chapelle- my favorite religious landmark of them all. The top floor has the most intricate and colorful stained glass I have ever seen- so breathtaking!
Sunset over Paris from the top of the Arc de Triomphe
Walking through the many parks in Paris- this one happened to be Parc Monceau, near our hotel
Finally getting near the Eiffel Tower
Our first day in Barcelona- we made our way down La Rambla right outside our hotel
The fish were all over the place down at the Port Vell
Tapas- the smartest meal idea ever. If you want to have cheese, fish, ham, and chicken all in one sitting- no problem! You order several small plates to share, and there you have it. All the best tastes in one. Love it!
Making our way through La Boqueria, one of the more popular public markets off La Rambla
We went back several times- here is Greg making our first visit to one of the nuts and chocolate stands. Needless to say- we were regulars by the end of our trip!
Taking a cable car up to Montjuic...
...the views on the way up were spectacular...
...and even better from the castle at the top!
Conquering my fear of huge flocks of birds at the Plaça Catalunya
La Sagrada Familia, a work by Gaudi that is still very much in progress
The sunsetting over the streets of Barcelona- the colors are so vivid it is truly unreal
And finally, piecing together one of our last meals in Barcelona from the selection at La Boqueria. So fun!
After a 10 hour flight, getting out to beat the jet lag with a warm glass of mulled cider in a pub. Every trip should start off this way...
Heading out to walk down the Thames as the sun rose behind Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. Wow- that's all I can say! And yes, we were even lucky enough to have a gorgeous, sunny (albeit cold) day during our stay in London.
Dinner at the quaint and oh so personal Library Restaurant at the Rubens Hotel (next door to our most fabulous hotel, the Hotel 41. If you are headed to London, I cannot recommend this hotel enough!!)
Stumbling across the only Bridal shop in the old town of Salisbury, where we happened to be stopping for lunch at a pub after visiting the Cathedral
Wandering around Stonehenge. Such an eerie feeling being somewhere so ancient, shrouded in so much mystery
Seeing the Queen make her way out of Buckingham Palace while waiting around for the Changing of the Guard. It happened in the flash of an eye, and we were so excited when we just happened to be paying attention in the right direction!
REAL fish and chips at Seashell's
The Arc de Triomphe all lit up our first night out and about near our hotel in Paris
The Eiffel Tower at night, after a walk down the bustling Champs-Elysees
Catching choir practice at Saint-Germain-des-Pres. I swear there were angels hovering above us as they sang....
And of course, Notre Dame- all lit up just for us!

Thank you so much for all of your help. We were so happy with the way the whole day turned out, and we know that it would not have been possible without all of your hard work. Thank you for taking all of the stresses off of us. It was a great day.
Jamie gifted each of her bridesmaids with a jeweled charm of their first initial hanging from their bouquet- and her Jr. Bridesmaid, not to be forgotten, received this adorable crown brooch.
