Michelle + Derek, All Saints-by-the-Sea, Montecito and Rancho Dos Pueblos, Santa Barbara

These two are so incredibly stylish as it is, that it was no surprise that their wedding turned out to be beyond fabulous. Throughout the planning process, Michelle and Derek kept me on my toes with all of their brilliant ideas and their crystal-clear vision for their perfect day. And being challenged to help them create as green of an event as possible was so exciting. I remember when Michelle first said 'I want as few flowers as possible. How about lemons as centerpieces? And instead of bridesmaids bouquets- fun, colorful shoes'. It sounded great at the time- but I had no idea just how fantastic it would look once it all came together. The splendid Kusha Alagband literally took my breath away with some of the images from this one-of-a-kind soiree. Enjoy!

Michelle's blinged out toes were such a fun touch

I love the shot of all of the bridesmaids shoes- each girl wore a different color, along with a unique piece of Juicy jewelry pinned onto their dress

Michelle found her stunning Rivini gown at Erin Cole Couture. They took such good care of her- as they do all of their clients.

I think this is by far my favorite bridal portrait to date. Doesn't Michelle look like a super model? Kusha mentioned to her 'You remind me of Linda Evangelista'. So true!

Maid of Honor Jen was such a doll the whole day, and took wonderful care of Michelle

The guys looked equally as fab in not your typical wedding tux rental. I loved the look!

It took me awhile to realize where the inspiration from this truly brilliant picture came from...

...but it finally came to me. Recognize this Beatles album cover? Genius!

The girls said a prayer before Michelle headed down the aisle. Moments like this give me goosbumps when I look back at the pictures.

Married!!

The guests were handed bubbles to blow as the newlyweds made their way out of the church

Off to Rancho Dos Pueblos just up the 101

Bocce ball is a special game to Michelle and Derek (hence, the sign created by the talented Jocey). Guests were able to enjoy it during the cocktail hour, as well as croquet.

Of course I have to mention that the guys were not to be outdone by the ladies vibrant shoes; they all wore a different pair of neon socks.

Gotta love all the vibrant reception details

Once the sun went down, the beauty of the lighting really began to show

Michelle and Derek choreographed the most amazing first dance EVER to kick off the open dance floor. I have seen a lot of those youtube first dances, and this literally blew every single one out of the water. They can both DANCE, I tell you. The crowd was screaming for more!
